What's that sound?
Where's it from?
Think this tree is talking,
It's asking me,
"Play chess with me?"

Has no mouth,
Has no eyes,
"If you will not play white,
I'll play black,
I just ask,"

"Just one game I swear it won't take long,"
I should just nod my head, play along,
So polite, asks so nice, might play twice,
Chessboard,
Spaces,
Pieces,
Kings n' Queens,
Bishop,
Pawn,
Rook n' Knight.

All those leaves,
Tragedy,
Damn that giant monkey,
For ruining,
His one dream.

Just one game,
What a shame,
Question never answered,
I'm so sorry,
Please forgive me.

Forced into, between two, beasts in war,
Swung straight down, splitting bough, snapped in twain,
